Our History
It started with cheese
The Laack family business has grown to meet all of your cold storage needs.
Like any good Wisconsinite, Mr. Laack liked cheese. Not finding a quality product to his liking, he started making his own. He started selling his cheese and a business was born. In 2005, Laack purchased a cold storage facility so he could move the growing business. He learned a lot from that purchase and decided to change his focus to help businesses of all sizes with their cold storage needs.
His sons, Mitch and Mason, grew up working with the cold storage’s after school and during their summer breaks. That experience fueled a passion to follow in their father’s footsteps to provide flexible pricing and space for businesses that need cold storage space for their products.
That same passion exists today. MM Cold Storage creates solutions for a variety of businesses in the food and pharmaceutical industries and looks forward to meeting your needs and build a feeling that you have a partner for your supply chain.

What food safety certification does MM Cold Storage abide by?
MM Cold Storage is Safety Quality Food (SQF) certified, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified and licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).
Do you accept drop trailers in dock doors?
Yes. A driver may leave a trailer at our facility for unloading.
How to schedule a delivery/pick-up appointment?
Email our office at office@mmgbcold.com with the order number and requested time.
Can I look at inventory report anytime and how?
Yes 24/7. MM Cold Storage will provide you with a login to view up to date inventory. Go to the WMS login page.
What is the shipping/receiving hours?
Our standard hours are 7am-5pm. Each tenant will have the option to customize hours for your needs.
How long does it take for MM Cold Storage to load/unload a trailer?
We at MM Cold Storage take pride in our quick, fast, easy dock overturn rate. Our rule of thumb is no less than one hour.
How much lead time to release/ship product?
We normally require 48 hours. Same day pick-ups can be made available, but an extra fee will be charged.
